Joe Cole Becomes Roy’s First Signing

The News Desk actually had something substantial laying on it this morning.  After stubbing my toe on it on the way to get coffee, I happened to read that the club signed Joe Cole.  Another quality player on a free transfer, bwahahah!  I guess Carlo got it wrong when he said that Cole wasn’t going anywhere.  Oh well, he’s Italian.  He should be used to wanting to do one thing with this team and then having his club go a different direction.  I’m sure Chelsea will be fine.  They have Yossi now–*snicker*.

Roy made a commitment to bring in English players and by God, he’s doing it.  Now, if we can get a striker, a full time left back, and a backup, we will be set.  I will go ahead and throw my hat in to play backup to the fullback, so that’s just two signings.  See how easy that was?  Another free transfer.

Happy days. We’ve signed an English international Premier League winner, Gerrard has knocked the speculation about himself on the head today and we are unbeaten for two months.

  2. CSD says:

Now if Torres will show some loyalty to the club and promised not to get injured anymore, we’ll be doing good.

    GOD DAMN.
