Kenny and Company Have Some ‘Splainin to Do

Not the face rub...
While a good majority of fans don’t want to step on any toes when it comes to club legend and current Liverpool boss Kenny Dalglish, the men boys at Fenway Sports Group have some immense feet and aren’t all too concerned with where they step. As the Reds league form continues to go from bad to evil, news has leaked out today that current gaffer Kenny Dalglish will be required to submit a full written report at the end of the term explaining their less than satisfactory position in the table. Dalglish isn’t the only one who’ll be putting in time; Director of football Damien Comolli and Steve Clarke will also be on hand cramp duty as FSG look for not only the reasons behind, but solutions to, the problems that have plagued the Reds this season. Many pundits, some of them in the know, believe that Kenny will push on despite the dreaded sack lurking in the background, but when your season goes from Champions League hopes to midtable mediocrity, relying on goodwill and a “plan for the future” may not be enough to keep the King behind the wheel.

Andy Carroll and Henderson seem too scared to play for Liverpool – and Downing should never be considered for England again – TALK ABOUT GEORDIE BOTTLERS – COWARDS

I think it’s a fair request. The club is definitely not meeting the goals that were set at the beginning of the season and seem to be in a bit of turmoil at the moment. I think what FSG is looking for is a way forward rather than excuses. If Dalglish and everyone else start making excuses, I think it’ll be curtains for them. If, however, they make suggestions of things that could be done better, they might be given a lifeline.

can’t they just talk about it like adults? the apparent lack of communication gives me a headache.
