Liverpool and Warrior Sports Officially Launch the Third Kit

Most of our players won’t need the tattoo arms…
After months of speculation, Liverpool and Warrior Sports have revealed the clubs third strip for the 2012/2013 season. We saw some pretty crazy mock-ups and some real outlandish crap leading up to the debut, but to be fair, it’s not even close to being as bad as previously feared. Pre-orders are now available for guaranteed worldwide on the kit’s launch date of August 2nd. Want to know a bit more about it? Here it is, straight from the horse’s mouth:

Colored nightshade, orange and white, the kit takes inspiration from popular past goalkeeper strips worn by David James during the 1994-95 and 1995-96 seasons, and Pepe Reina in 2010-11.

Third kits have traditionally been a bit off the wall and it’s hard to forget last season’s effort from Adidas. Despite some odd color choices, I’d have to say I like this one a bit better. The first and second kits have both garnet mostly positive reviews and wracked up some serious sales figures; now what do you think about this one? Have a go in the comments.

Want to place a pre-order? Grab yourself one right here.

Steven McMillan

Can’t find up from down or tell black from white, but doesn't care cause it’s all Red to him. When he's not pissing and moaning about all things Liverpool, he’s chatting nonsense with his multiple personalities — or his “entourage” as he likes to call them.

    its embarrassing!!

if they got rid of the maori tatoos and the orange it would be bearable.

It’s a joke when Everton has better kits then we do, especially when they are the ones with the horrible kits which makes them a laughing stock.

I agree, it’s not as bad as some of the bright purple ‘leaks’, but it’s still not good. After going fairly conventional with the Home and 2nd kit, they maybe thought they had to do something out of the ordinary just to be different to what has gone before.

Hopefully they won’t have to wear it that often.

It could be worse though, it could the Utd home tea towel jersey. 😉 lol

What the fuck color is nightshade?

I’m actually very pleased with the job Warrior have done on the kits. They have proven they can produce a quality football kit and will likely be a strong brand in the years to come. I have more of a problem with the away kit than this one. What’s with the yoke? It makes them look like some Star Trek bad guys. Ah well. Gotta have something to bitch about.

Not impressive at all. How did the management actually approve this kit??
Sales for this kit will be zero for sure. I dread to watch our players in action with this kit
