Adam to Stoke, Sturridge Loan, Walcott, Dempsey and Huntelaar Moving On?

Thanks for everything Chuck.

The News Desk is scanning the airwaves for reports of rogue helicopters flying about, but so far all we can do is confirm that Charlie Adam has moved to Stoke in a deal worth somewhere around £4mil. The former Blackpool midfielder fell right down the pecking order at Anfield since his injury last season and arrival of Brendan Rodgers. With Adam, Carroll and Spearing all off the wage bill, we’ve put in a word to Chelsea about Daniel Sturridge and our willingness to take him on loan for the remainder of the season. If that’s not going to fly, Clint Dempsey remains an option after Aston Villa withdrew their bid for the American striker. Rumor has it that Brendan Rodgers turned down a move for Klaas-Jan Huntelaar earlier in the day and Theo Walcott, also rumored to be on the auction block, has yet to sign a new deal at Arsenal making him a viable target.
