While you wouldn’t be too far off the mark if you thought that Daniel Sturridge spent as much time posting updates on his rehabilitation as he did…you know…actually getting rehabilitated, that’s not about to stop the striker from keeping you up to date with what he’s been up to as he took to social media to dish out some praise for Performance Innovation team member at EXOS Scott Schrimscher.
“Tired eyes as usual with my bro @sschrim. Thanks for everything” is how the Reds hit-man captioned a picture of the two along with “Another hard day’s training. This guy is A1 at his job.”
Sturridge, who has been out of action since the end of August with a frustrating string of muscle injuries, is expected to finally make his long awaited return to the Liverpool line-up later this month following some warm weather training in California and numerous meetings with the Boston Red Sox medical team over the month of December. If all goes to plan, the former Chelsea man should be available to face his old side in one capacity or another when they meet in a two-legged League Cup semi-final clash in just over a week.
Hopefully by then he’ll be updating us with goal celebrations…
