Liverpool FC and adidas have officially unveiled the Reds’ third kit for the 2025/26 season, marking a major milestone in the club’s renewed and record-breaking partnership with the German sportswear giant.
The launch comes after a historic start to the 10-year deal, with more home and away kits sold in the first month than at any other time in Liverpool’s history, underscoring the enormous enthusiasm among supporters worldwide.
The new third kit features a striking sea green colourway, a nod to classic Liverpool and adidas designs from the 1990s and early 2000s. The design blends heritage and modern performance, with the adidas Originals Trefoil logo returning to a Liverpool shirt for the first time in almost 35 years.
Fans will also notice the classic Liverpool crest from 1987 to 1992 prominently displayed on the front, bridging the club’s storied past with the modern squad. On the reverse, the 97-emblem encased by eternal flames sits at the nape of the neck, paying tribute to one of the most iconic eras in Liverpool’s history.

The kit is available in three versions—short-sleeve, long-sleeve, and a newly created cropped edition—giving supporters multiple options to showcase their loyalty and style. It is paired with white shorts featuring green detailing and green socks, while the goalkeeper version comes in a sleek all-black design.
Beyond the match-day kits, the partnership extends to a wide range of apparel, including an extensive training collection, culture wear, hats, accessories, and the LFC Gazelle trainer, demonstrating adidas’ commitment to combining performance, style, and fan engagement.
The launch was brought to life through a special video featuring Liverpool actor and fan James Nelson-Joyce, alongside men’s and women’s first-team players Andy Robertson, Trey Nyoni, and Fuka Nagano, as well as club legend Steve McManaman. Their involvement highlights the deep connection between the club’s history, its current stars, and its global fanbase.
The men’s first team will debut the new third kit in their upcoming fixture against Burnley at Turf Moor on Sunday, September 14, while the women’s team will wear it for the first time on November 22 against Sheffield United away in the Women’s League Cup.
Early fan reactions have been overwhelmingly positive, with Liverpool’s flagship store at Anfield experiencing its busiest few months ever, while online sales set new records. Among the most popular purchases for name and number printing was first record signing Florian Wirtz, who joined from Bayer Leverkusen for a fee potentially reaching £116 million, with fellow new signing Alexander Isak expected to generate similar excitement.
Liverpool’s partnership with adidas is not new but historic. The club first wore adidas kits from 1985 to 1996, and again from 2006 to 2012, periods during which the Reds lifted three top-flight league titles and three FA Cups.
Supporters can purchase the new third kit today via LFC’s official online store, official LFC stores worldwide, and the Liverpool FC Store App, with a 10% discount for All Red Members.
