We’ve got another international break coming up to stunt our momentum, but in the very least the Reds sent us off in style with a rousing display against a struggling Fulham side.

The Reds would close out the half three goals to the good after Luis Suarez latched onto Jordan Henderson’s through-ball to slot past Dutch international Maarten Stekelenburg. The Uruguayan added another before the full-time whistle when Gerrard, playing creator again, hassled Kieran Richardson off the ball to send Suarez through for a near-post finish.
A contentious stoppage time penalty was the difference between Chelsea losing or drawing today at Stamford Bridge and the dropped points means that Liverpool go into the international break in second place — as it stands, two points behind Arsenal, who play Manchester United tomorrow, and a point in front of surprise package Southampton.
