VIDEO: Liverpool’s Lap of Honour

In case you missed it yesterday, Liverpool have generously posted the lap of honour the players took following yesterday’s 2-1 win over Newcastle United at Anfield.

While we went into the match hoping for a miracle, the sheer fact that we jumped from our seventh placed finish last season to within touching distance of the title this one is an amazing feat in itself.

With the transfer window opening soon, this could very well be the time some of the players walk around the famous Anfield pitch. Loanee’s Victor Moses and Aly Cissokho are expected to return to their parent clubs when their loans expire, while the futures of Daniel Agger and Lucas have been hotly debated in the last few months.

No matter what happens over the next couple of months, rest assured that none of these players will be forgotten by the Liverpool faithful anytime soon. Thanks for an amazing season — we’re looking forward to many more just like it. Maybe one with an even happier ending in the near future…
