Vote for Stevie and Suarez for Fan Player of the Season

As the Reds charged to a second place finish in the Premier League, two players continually showed day in and day out exactly what a Liverpool title challenge looks like: Steven Gerrard and Luis Suarez.
In typical Gerrard fashion, the talismanic midfielder lead by example, proving that despite his age he can still down with the best of them while Suarez’s 31-goals helped fire the Anfield outfit back into the Champions League for the first time since 2009. Neither player is a stranger to picking up individual plaudits and both will have the chance to claim yet another one with the pair shortlisted for the ever so popular FTBpro PFA Fan Player of the Season award. Though it may be hard to separate the two of them, it’s time to do your duty and cast a vote for at least one.
Flip a coin if you have to; or think back on the Captain’s speech after he saw his side run out 3-2 winners over Manchester City at Anfield. Relive his transformation from bombing midfield maverick to calm, controlled regista in the heart of the Liverpool midfield. Take into account the pair of penalties he potted at Old Trafford or his stunning free-kick against Hully City before you make up your mind.
Gerrard sounds like the easy choice, of course, until Suarez comes back into the picture. His four goals against Norwich City — each more audacious than the last — quickly comes to mind, but then there’s his swerving effort at Goodison Park to consider and his perfectly timed winner at Old Trafford. Goals alone don’t do him justice though and his numerous assists for Raheem Sterling and strike partner Daniel Sturridge certainly give you pause as you try to work out your decision.
This isn’t getting any easier, is it? Well, at least make sure one of them wins and vote here.
