Liverpool Reject Andy Carroll Loan Move

Andy Carroll: Yoga Master
We’ve had rumors linking AC Milan, Fulham and newly promoted West Ham United to Andy Carroll, but Newcastle United are the only ones to confirm that they’re actually in the market and have made a move to bring the Gateshead born striker home. The News Desk has never been great with facts and figures, but in the year and half that Carroll has been on Merseyside, opinions have been split as to whether he’s ever been worth our time. Maybe it’s not 50/50 or even 60/40, but it’s time for Fabio Borini and Carroll is looking more and more like the odd man out. New boss Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that he’d be willing to let the big striker leave on loan, with players of the more technically gifted variety topping his wishlist. Barcodes boss Alan Pardew is expecting bids for stand-out goal poachers Papiss Cissé and Demba Ba, so bringing back the local boy he sold to the Reds 18 months ago as a reinforcement. When you’re bracing for some serious inquiries in the next month and a half, taking a player like Carroll on loan is a  tidy bit of business. Liverpool may be suffering some sticker shock at the £35mil we paid out for Andy have refused to let him leave quite yet, but if he’s not going to feature at all, what’s worse? Him somewhere else with his wages paid and price tag slowly rising, or having him sit on the bench collecting a fat cheque every week?
