Liverpool Apparently Eyeing Loan for PSG Midfielder Adrien Rabiot

Another cook for the kitchen

Despite the middle of the park already looking quite congested at Anfield, if recent reports in the French media are to be believed, then Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is looking to pack it even tighter with a loan move for Paris Saint-Germain youngster Adrien Rabiot apparently on the cards.

The tricky 19-year old, who has attracted interest from a number of top clubs in the past, signed a new deal at the Parc des Princes earlier in the season with manager Laurent Blanc recognizing the Frenchman’s quality, but with a packed squad of his own, chances have been limited for the starlet with only four domestic appearances under his belt thus far this season. With rumours that PSG will be looking to farm out the midfielder this January doing the rounds, it sounds like a whole host of clubs are getting in line for a chance at capturing his signature.

Both AS Roma and Tottenham Hotspur have been heavily linked with a six-month move for Rabiot as they both look to add fresh blood in January. Now, of course, Liverpool has been thrown in the mix as well because if you’ve got a young, promising and wholly unproven player on the market, why wouldn’t the Reds be ready to splash out a ton of cash on them?

Although Rodgers has more or less ruled out bringing in reinforcements in January, the Reds continue to be linked with a host of new players as those they brought in during a busy summer continue to struggle to adapt to life in the Premier League. While a move for Rabiot, as unlikely as that may seem, may not be the worst idea, you’d expect that if the Anfield outfit did make a move this winter it’d be for some proven quality and not another gamble than may not pan out.

We need at least 1 proven & quality player in each area, I mean a quality keeper, defender, midfielder & striker. But it will never happen under the management of BR.
