Liverpool superstar Mohamed Salah had a fantastic campaign with the Reds and he helped them win the Champions League.
Now, the former Chelsea man is preparing for the upcoming African Cup of Nations, which will be hosted by Egypt. He will be hoping to earn glory with the national side as well.
Last night, The Pharaohs played against Guinea in a friendly and won the contest 3-1 thanks to the brilliance of Mohamed Salah.
The Liverpool playmaker was subbed on to the field in the 62nd minute of the game and after two minutes, Egypt conceded an equalizer.
In the 78th minute, Salah pounced on a through ball on the right wing, dribbled the goalie twice then saw his shot deflected off the post and from the rebound, Ahmed Ali scored to restore Egypt’s lead.
In the 86th minute, the 27-year-old provided an assist to further increase Egypt’s lead. The Pharaohs will kick start their AFCON campaign on Friday against Zimbabwe.
