Once A Bluebird, Always A Bluebird?

No matter what shirt he's in, he's still Craig Bellamy.
The News Desk might have a wee bit of an attitude sometimes, but compared to Craig Bellamy, we’re just a gaggle of mild mannered schoolgirls. With no vocal chords. Or opinions whatsoever. No matter what anyone has to say about the fiery Welshman, you could never say he doesn’t speak his mind. Ahead of the Carling Cup final with hometown and former club Cardiff City, the Liverpool striker has said he won’t celebrate if he scores, and more controversially, won’t lose any sleep if the Reds fail to lift their 8th League Cup on Sunday. Not celebrating? Shows you have some class, so fair play to him. Won’t lose any sleep? For a player that’s lifted only a Charity Shield in his journeyman career, that’s a bit over the top even for those of us behind the News Desk. Not that Craig would care what we have to say. Or know who we are. So, yeah. Go about your business.

Steven McMillan

Can’t find up from down or tell black from white, but doesn't care cause it’s all Red to him. When he's not pissing and moaning about all things Liverpool, he’s chatting nonsense with his multiple personalities — or his “entourage” as he likes to call them.

In his defence, I don’t think he really meant it in the way that it’s being portrayed. I would have liked him to say something along the lines of, “I’ve had a great career, but I really want to win trophies with Liverpool.”

What CSD said, except ending with the line “more than anything else in the world, Ron.”
