Suso Reportedly Agrees to AC Milan Move

Liverpool youngster Suso has reportedly agreed to join Italian giants AC Milan either in this coming transfer window or when it re-opens next summer according to respected journalist Gianluca Di Marzio.
The Serie A outfit were apparently hot on the heels of the attacking midfielder during the closing stages of the transfer window, but never did get their man. Although the Reds looked to be sending out the 20-year old on loan for the second summer on the hop, a move never did materialize and he’ll be fighting for his place at Anfield until at least January — which could very well be when AC Milan plan to make their move. They’ve been tipped to be hoping to snag him on a free transfer next summer, but they could be tempted to make an opening bid this coming winter.
With his current deal set to come to an end and no contract renewal in sight right now, Suso is free to talk to foreign clubs in January, though according to Di Marzio, they won’t have much to discuss. “Suso agreed to move to Milan” he wrote in his Calciomercato column for Sky Italia. “Liverpool’s attacker accepted Milan’s proposal and will sign with the Italian club as soon as it will be allowed. His contract expires in a year’s time and in few months he’ll be able to officially commit to his new team.”
Well, that sounds like that, doesn’t it? “Suso dreamed to play in Italy. His father was a footballer like him and together they decided that Italy would be the right career move” he continued after confirming that the youngster spurned the advances of both Borussia Dortmund and Atletico Madrid to see out a move to Italy. “Suso waits for Milan, he’ll join in June or maybe even in January.”
We’ll just see about that…
