Duo return – Liverpool’s strongest possible 4-3-3 XI vs Man United

Liverpool will face Man United at Old Trafford tomorrow and will look to continue their perfect start to the Premier League campaign.

The Reds are in superb form at the moment and United have been disastrous, still, it must be remembered that we have not beaten our arch rivals in their own back-yard since 2014.

As far as the team news is concerned, the likes of Joel Matip and Alisson Becker returned to full training this week and if we are to start the strongest possible side on Sunday then the duo should be included in the lineup.

So, Alisson should replace Adrian, who has been a great servant so far, in the goal. On the other hand, Matip could replace Lovren to start with Van Dijk in the central defense.

The likes of Alexander-Arnold and Robertson should start in the fullback positions. Last season, Milner played in the RB role at Old Trafford and was average. I’m glad Alexander-Arnold was not utilized during the international break, so, he should be raring to go vs the Red Devils.

In the central midfield, Fabinho might start as the main defensive midfielder and in front of him, the likes of Wijnaldum and skipper Henderson should start.

As far as the attack is concerned, Salah had an ankle problem after the game vs Leicester City but hopefully he’d be fit to start with Mane and Firmino up-front.

Here is Liverpool’s strongest possible 4-3-3 XI vs Man United:
