Liverpool urged to lure Chelsea’s Kante
Liverpool splashed the cash and hired the services of Fabinho in the summer transfer window of 2018.
The Brazilian international was brilliant for us in the last campaign and was a key member of Jurgen Klopp’s squad that won the Champions League. At the moment, he is arguably the best defensive midfielder in the Premier League.

Apart from Fabinho, we have players like Jones, Lallana, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Milner, Wijnaldum, Keita and skipper Henderson in the midfield. Still, former Liverpudlian Jason McAteer has urged Klopp to sign Chelsea star N’Golo Kante.
McAteer heavily praised Fabinho and Kante and told Racing Post (via The Daily Mail):
“Kante is definitely one of the final pieces in Jurgen Klopp’s jigsaw.”
The French international was one of Leicester City’s best player in their title winning 2015-16 campaign. A year later, the defensive midfielder helped Chelsea win the Premier League title and deservedly won the PFA Player of the Year award.
Kante was a key member of the Les Bleus squad that lifted the World Cup trophy last year under the management of Didier Deschamps.
Back in November 2018, Chelsea agreed a mammoth new deal worth £290,000-a-week (The Daily Mail) with the former Foxes star and this season, he has so far netted 2 goals in 4 PL appearances under Frank Lampard.
Not to forget, against Liverpool, Kante drove past the midfield and scored a superb solo goal at Stamford Bridge back in September.
