England international Jadon Sancho’s future has been up in the air for quite some time and Liverpool have been constantly linked with the Dortmund winger.
Rumors in the media have been contrasting and as per the latest reports, the Reds are leading the race to hire the services of the 19-year-old attacker, who wants to leave the Bundesliga club in the January transfer window.
On 26th November, The Telegraph reported that Man Utd believe they are in pole position to secure the signature of Sancho despite interest from Liverpool, Real Madrid and Barcelona.
However, yesterday, Viasport reporter, Jan Age Fjortoft, tweeted that as per a very good source in Germany, Klopp and Liverpool are favorites to agree signing of Sancho, who wants Dortmund exit in winter.
Klopp’s memorable “Let’s talk about SIX” interview (Youtube) after winning the Champions League earlier this year was with Fjortoft, who is a retired Norwegian international and former Premier League striker.
In our previous post, we discussed Sancho’s disciplinary concerns in the current campaign and talked about how Klopp punished Sakho when he arrived late for training. Apart from the disciplinary concerns, the stats indicate that the former Man City player’s performances have been highly impressive under the management of Lucien Favre.
Reports suggest that the teenage star could cost around £100million (The Telegraph). Our record signing is Dutch international Virgil van Dijk, who was lured for a fee of £75million (The Guardian) from Southampton in January 2018.
Have your say, should Klopp splash £100million to sign Jadon Sancho in January?
