Liverpool’s injury crisis is starting to abate somewhat with midfielder Emre Can confirming via his various social media accounts that he’s back in full training at Melwood — and pretending to kung-fu fight with striker Mario Balotelli during a break in the action.

The former Bayer Leverkusen man, who injured his ankle while representing his country during the last international break, has re-joined the group ahead of the Reds meeting with Queens Park Rangers on Sunday.

“I’ve got to say the games I played were not my best because I was struggling a bit with a calf problem in both those games. That meant it was difficult to do everything at a high tempo” said the midfielder. “When I’m fully fit again I’ll be able to produce better performances. I’m really convinced of that.”

Daniel Sturridge, Joe Allen and Can all are all expected to be available for selection when Premier League action resumes this weekend, but the availability of defender Dejan Lovren is still in question after he left training with Croatia with a abdomen problem.
