The Paris Saint-Germain star has already won the World Cup and is performing at the highest level at the age of 20.

Last season, in just 43 appearances, he directly contributed in 56 goals for the Ligue 1 champions (39 goals and 17 assists). In the current campaign, so far, in 9 games, he has netted 8 goals and provided 4 assists in all competitions.

The British news outlet have pointed out how everything is falling in place for the Reds to lure Mbappe to Anfield. Liverpool are expected to agree a huge kit deal with Nike and the World champion is one of their renowned brand ambassadors.

Earlier in the summer, Sturridge found out that the French league star used to copy his famous dance celebration. Also, the Les Bleus superstar revealed that his go to team for FIFA would be Liverpool because they won the Champions League (Not to forget, PSG have a star studded squad and a highly rated lineup in FIFA 20).

Furthermore, it is stated that Liverpool’s defensive midfielder Fabinho has previously claimed how he is slowly convincing his former Monaco team-mate to move to Anfield.

At the end, The Daily Express cite an old report from France (L’Equipe) claiming that Mbappe was charmed by Klopp, who wanted to sign the Frenchman but he opted to move to PSG.

Recently, Mbappe even liked a picture of Salah and Henderson (Salah’s Instagram account) celebrating against Spurs.

The 33-capped star has won every major domestic prize in France but PSG have always under performed in the Europe’s elite competition. Is it time for the winger to move away from Paris to win the Champions League?

It must be remembered that Mbappe’s current contract with the Ligue 1 champions will expire in 2022 and he is earning around £344,000-a-week (Goal.com). At Anfiled, Mohamed Salah is the highest earner and he gets £200,000-a-week (The Daily Mail).

So, it will be fair to say that Liverpool would have to break their pay structure to sign Mbappe.
