If Liverpool’s miraculous run last season didn’t surprise you even a bit, then you must be some sort of soothsayer. While pundits and Reds fans alike spent large swathes of the season playing down the sides chances, a pair of talkSPORT presenters doubted Brendan Rodgers side a bit too much — and now they’re paying for it with their hair.

At the beginning of the campaign, duo Andy Goldstein and Jason Cundy had all the confidence in the world that the Northern Irishman didn’t have the chops to guide Liverpool back into the promised land of the Champions League. Hindsight is always 20/20, and looking back on it, they certainly were wrong.

An amazing 84-points and a heart-stopping 101-goals later, the Reds secured a return to the lucrative fields of Europe’s most prestigious cup competition by finishing a mere 2-points off of eventual champions Manchester City and Rodgers — who the pair doubted so much at the start of the campaign — got to listen live as David Beckham’s sister Joanne gave them the once over with a number two clipper.
