Depending On Who You Believe: Mongering What Little Rumours There Are

There's two kinds of truth...
With all eyes focused squarely on the European Championship currently underway in Ukraine and Poland, any sort of news — or even made up transfer rumours — have been in short supply.  With all the tight lips keeping those proverbial ships afloat, the News Desk is stuck pondering whether Alberto Aquilani will be returning to Milan or setting up shop on Merseyside again. We also get to have a good think on Salomon Kalou coming in on a free to replace the supposedly want-away Italian midfielder. Then, since we broached the subject of midfielders, we have to talk about the media blackout surrounding Gylfi Sigurdsson and his broken down move to Swansea and impending reunion with Brendan Rodgers at Anfield — though “impending” may mean different things to different people depending on whatever phase of the moon it is and whether or not today’s date is an odd or even number. After all that non-news, we’re left with Joe Cole. Does anyone care what Joey is up to? Well, neither do we.
