How Liverpool stars fared in the internationals yesterday
Seven Liverpool players were involved with their international teams yesterday but not all of them were victorious.
Our South American duo of Firmino and Alisson featured for Brazil in a friendly contest against Honduras and the five time World Cup winners scored 7 goals.
Alisson played for the entire game and successfully kept a clean sheet. On the other hand, Firmino replaced Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus in the 55th minute of the game and in the 65th minute, he found the net with a sublime chip finish.

England and Switzerland battled to earn the third place in the UEFA Nations League and The Three Lions won the contest on penalties.
Shaqiri featured for 65 minutes for the Swiss side. On the other hand, Gomez and Alexander-Arnold played for full 120 minutes for England. Our skipper, Jordan Henderson, was an unused substitute.
Our Dutch duo of Wijnaldum and Van Dijk played the entire game for the Netherlands against Portugal but unfortunately, they ended up on the losing side.
The Seleccao won the UEFA Nations League final 1-0 thanks to a goal scored by Goncalo Guedes in the 60th minute of the contest.
