VIDEO: Jamie Carragher Previews Chelsea Clash

One has to wonder exactly how envious Jamie Carragher is of his former Liverpool teammates right now. After calling time on an amazing career at the end of the last season, the Reds legend took a job as a pundit for Sky Sports News and though he’s had the pleasure of watching his old time over achieve this season, there’s been more than one time where he’s made it quite obvious that he’d rather be on the pitch than behind the desk.
With Brendan Rodgers on course to claim Liverpool’s first title of the Premier League era, Carragher has had to watch from the sidelines — commentating rather than participating — as the team he loves marches towards the one trophy that eluded him during a long and illustrious career.
Carragher, ever the pragmatist, did his best to play down the chances of his old side claiming victory on Sunday; despite his obvious bias, one thing that can be said about the Reds old Number 23, is that he hasn’t pulled any punches and has done a great job of calling things as they are. Hopefully Stevie won’t give him too much schtick if he does go on to lift the Premier League trophy…
