Three clubs have moved in to sign Liverpool’s £65,000-a-week star

England international Adam Lallana is linked with a move away from the Reds and reports suggest that several clubs are after his signature.

According to an exclusive story covered by Football Insider, three Premier League clubs have made moves to lure the former Southampton star, however, he wants to see out the final year of his contract at Anfield.

News – Liverpool player suffers suspected hamstring injury on international duty

Liverpool are looking to strengthen their team in the summer transfer window and they should also look to offload the players that are not really needed at the club.

The Reds have already let go the likes of Daniel Sturridge and Alberto Moreno and I think it is time to sell Adam Lallana.

In the 2013-14 campaign, when the Reds nearly won the league title, Lallana made it into the PFA Team of the Year. Now, Klopp has got better midfielders at his disposal and the former Saints is mainly a bench warmer.

In Klopp’s first full season at the club (2016-17), Lallana was impressive. He started 27 times in the league and directly contributed in 15 goals. However, in the last two PL campaigns, the 31-year-old managed to start just 5 times.

In the 2017-18 season, he missed 33 games due to a hamstring injury (Transfermarkt) and in the recently concluded campaign, mostly, he was either on the bench or not in the squad at all. Under Klopp, Liverpool play at a high pace and Lallana is one of the slowest players in the Premier League (Mirror Sport).

At the moment, we have got a lot of quality and depth in the center of the park and midfielders like Keita, Fabinho, Wijnaldum, Milner, Oxlade-Chamberlain and captain Henderson are now above Lallana in the pecking order, therefore, the £65,000-a-week (The Daily Express) man should be sold.
