Trabzonspor Reportedly Agree Terms With Kolo Toure

Although it’s yet to be confirmed by Liverpool, Turkish club Trabzonspor claim to have agreed to terms with Reds defender Kolo Toure ahead of a proposed move to the Hüseyin Avni Aker Stadium.
The Ivory Coast international, who joined the Anfield outfit from Manchester City last summer on a free transfer, looked set to see out the final year of his contract on Merseyside after the club rejected and initial offer for his services. The renewed interest from the Black Sea club looks to have paid off and the 33-year old is set to go for a fee of £1.5mil despite the futures of fellow center-halves Daniel Agger, who is rumoured to be looking for guaranteed first team football, and Sebastian Coates, who has reportedly been offered to Seria A side Sampdoria, looking like they also lie away from Liverpool.
Despite bringing in a number of new faces this summer, Trabzonspor boss Vahid Halilhodzic has requested additional re-enforcements for his back-line — and it would appear that the club have heard him loud and clear. “We have agreed terms with Kolo Toure and we will bring him to the club,” club president Ibrahim Haciosmanoglu told Turkish media outlet Hurriyet.
First team opportunites were already looking limited for the 33-year old following the arrival of Dejan Lovren from Southampton last month, but with Reds boss Brendan Rodgers hinting that Daniel Agger is likely to stay on Merseyside for the foreseeable future, Toure’s chances of making an impact were reduced even further.
